(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 30, 2014 at approximately 1:15 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers initiated a R.I.D.E. program on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Town line, Guelph-Eramosa Township. Officers spoke with the male driver of a 2015 Toyota and had suspicions that he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail. An arrest was made and he was transported to a local Operations Centre for testing.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
Vladimir DJURDJIC age 29 of Kitchener has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 16, 2014 to answer to the charge.
