(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 29, 2014 at approximately 8:16 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) initiated a R.I.D.E. program on Wellington Road 35 and Concession 4, Puslinch Township. Officers spoke with the male driver of a 2005 Dodge pickup and believed that he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail. He was transported to a local Operations Centre for testing.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
Robert MCLEOD age 64 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 3, 2014 to answer to the charge.
