(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County would like to invite the community to participate in a new event for Special Olympics.
What: Law Enforcement Torch Ride for Special Olympics Ontario
When: Sunday, September 7th 2014 starting at 8am for registration. The ride leaves at 10:30
Where: Knights of Columbus in Emeryville. Riders will leave from this location, travel along the shores of Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie and the Detroit River before returning for a pasta luncheon. This ride will include a poker run as well with prizes to be won.
There will be a pasta luncheon for the general public as well from noon-3pm. Live music and entertainment will be provided for the children. …

Tickets for the pasta luncheon can be purchased at any of the OPP detachments. Registration for the Torch Ride can be done at www.torchrideontario.com.
