(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded on September 2, 2014 just before 6:00 p.m. to a two vehicle collision that took place in the 400 block of Lyndoch Street.
A male driver of a Buick vehicle that was involved in the collision fled the scene in his car prior to police arrival. As the OPP investigation continued, the vehicle and the male were located a short time later.
After further investigation and subsequent breath tests, Lawrence BROWN, 55 years of age from St. Clair Township was charged with:
Impaired Driving
Driving over the Legal Limit
Failing to Stop at Scene of Accident
The charged male has a Sarnia court date of September 29, 2014 to answer to the charges. The female driver of the second vehicle reported minor injuries.
