(Russell, ON) On September 2, 2014 OPP Constables were operating radar on Highway 417 Westbound in Russell area. The officers noticed a BMW travelling westbound at an extreme high rate of speed. The officers began to catch up to the vehicle and followed him at speeds that varied between 200km/h and 220km/h in the 100km/h zone. The vehicle was eventually stopped when it had to slow down for other traffic.
Rayyan SALAH, 22years old, from Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC will have to appear in L’Orignal Traffic Court on October 17, 2014 to answer to the following charge:

His driver’s license was suspended for 7 days and his vehicle seized for 7 days.
