(CALEDON, ON) – On August 25th, 2014 patrol officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the theft of manhole covers from a road construction site on Ellwood Drive. The investigation was continued under the direction of the Street Crime Unit officers who arrested two males with the theft on August 28th and August 29th.
Lee ALLEN, 41 and Alvin Donald BARRON, 43, both from Brampton were arrested and charged with 3 counts of Theft under $5,000 and 1 count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
They are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on September 9, 2014 to answer to their respective charges.
