(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), wants to remind the public that on Wednesday September 10, 2014, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., there will be road closures and detours in place around the Stratford Municipal Airport due to the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds Airshow.
Spectators are urged to utilize the convenience of free shuttle buses that will transport them, from the RBC – Stratford Rotary Complex to the airport. Tickets will be available at the airport gate on the day of the airshow.
There will be field parking available on the south side of Line 40 east of road 111. However this can only be accessed via Road 110 and Line 40.
Roads that will be closed between 2 – 8 p.m.
– Road 111 from Perth Line 37 (Vivian Line) to Line 40
– Line 40 from Perth Road 119 to Road 110 (except for those using field parking which can only be accessed from Road 110)
Road that will be closed between 4 – 8 p.m.
– Perth Road 119 from Line 39 to Line 42.
(Through traffic on Perth Road 119 will be detoured along Line 39, Road 122, and Line 42).
The public is urged to obey all detours and to refrain from parking vehicles on road ways. Vehicles parked that obstruct the flow of traffic and constitute a danger, will be towed at the owners expense. In addition the owner may be fined.
