ALERT OFFICER STOPS MOTORCYCLE – DRIVER CHARGED

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 27 year old male after police stopped a motorcycle at a Robinson Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at approximately 9:00 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Robinson Street and Talbot Street South, when a motorcycle attracted an officer’s attention. The motorcyclist was subsequently stopped and investigated.

As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 27 year old Edward James WILLS of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences.

Possession of Marihuana
Unauthorized possession of weapon
Carrying concealed weapon
Possession of Cocaine
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
