(ARMOUR TWP, ON) – On Friday August 29, 2014 at approximately 4:47 p.m., the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of a possible impaired driver southbound on Highway 11 from South River. OPP stopped the vehicle, a 1995 green Ford Taurus at Katrine Road in Armour Township.
The driver, James BARRETT, 58 of Harrisonburg, Virgina was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sundridge, Ontario on Thursday September 25, 2014.
