(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in a local male being charged with a drug related offence.
On September 4, 2014 an OPP officer observed a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) infraction on Colborne Street in Fenelon Falls and subsequently stopped the vehicle observed. Further investigation revealed the presence of marihuana.
As a result of the investigation Johnathon MACEY, 18 years of age, of Fenelon Falls, was charged with possession of marihuana, under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on October 2, 2014.
