(ORILLIA, ON) – On September 5, 2014 at approximately 8:35 a.m. members of the Orillia Street Crime Unit, in conjunction with the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and members of the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a warrant at an address on Victoria Street in the City of Orillia.
During the execution of the warrant, 15 marihuana plants and trafficking paraphernalia were seized.
Michael CORRIVEAU, 20 years old of Orillia, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Marihuana and Production of Marihuana.
Julia BEERS, 21 years old of Orillia, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Marihuana and Production of Marihuana.
Both parties were released on their own Promise to Appear with a court date in Orillia on October 7, 2014.
