(AWERES TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Friday, September 5, 2014 at approximately 7:00 pm Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a domestic dispute in Aweres Township.
As a result of police investigation a thirty- four year old male was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The female victim did not require medical attention.
The male is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on September 8, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
