(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident at a Charlotteville Road 8, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, September 5, 2014 at approximately 7:21 a.m., Norfolk County OPP and Norfolk County Paramedics responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
Through investigation, it has been determined that a 22 year old male started a pick-up to allow it to warm up however the vehicle was placed in neutral causing it to roll backwards.
The male attempted to re-enter the vehicle while it was in motion at which time it struck him and a tree before coming to a stop. The male received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital and then flown by air ambulance to a Hamilton area hospital for further treatment.
