CITIZEN CALLS ALERTS POLICE TO DRINKING DRIVER

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were advised of a possible impaired driver at a plaza on Argyle Street in the Town of Caledonia, in Haldimand County.

At approximately 10:36 p.m. September 7th, 2014, officers responded to a possible drinking driver at a plaza on Argyle Street South. Officers located a male in a grey Ford vehicle, who had been drinking. The officer gave the male driver the Approved Screening Test. As a result of the test the male was transported back to the Haldimand County OPP detachment for Intoxilyzer Tests.

John CLARE 21 years of age from the City of Hamilton is facing the following criminal charge

Drive with more than 80 mgs of Blood Alcohol Content

The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Cayuga on September 23rd, 2014 to answer to the charge.
