(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On September 9, 2014 at approximately 1:01 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting radar enforcement on Highway 6 near Concession 4, Puslinch Township. This part of Highway 6 was down to a single lane and under construction for paving operations with workers present.
A male driving a 2012 Nissan was travelling southbound and a high rate of speed. Police locked the car on radar at 121km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Ahmed ALDA’AMSA age 21of Mississauga, is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on October 15, 2014 to answer to the charge.
