OPP SEEKING ASSISTANCE FROM PUBLIC IN LOCATING VEHICLE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a vehicle after police were called to a Queensway West, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at approximately 3:35 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen after their vehicle was struck while turning into the parking lot of Boston Pizza.

Through investigation, it has been determined that a Blue Hyundai was travelling eastbound on Queensway West when the passenger side of the SUV was struck by a large yellow school bus also travelling eastbound. The driver of the bus stopped after the collision however continued and proceeded to turn northbound on Highway 24. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

At the time of the collision, the bus was occupied by children and police are looking to speak to the driver.

The school bus is being described as a full length, yellow school bus with the numbers of 293 on the side.

The driver is being described as older male, approximately 60 years of age, grey hair and was wearing a white shirt.
