The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant for domestic related offences.
On September 13, 2014, police responded to a residence on 9th Line in regards to a domestic dispute. The woman was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention. The man fled the residence prior to police arrival. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest for the offences of assault x2, forcible confinement and overcome resistance by attempting to choke.
Yesterday afternoon, police located the man and he was taken into custody. The 44-year-old Raleigh Township man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
