WEST ELGIN BUSINESSES BROKEN INTO

Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating two break ins which occurred overnight on September 12th, 2014 between 9:30pm and 10am on September 13th, 2014 at two business on the same property on Hoskins Line, West Elgin.

A-Xcavating was entered and had the following items taken;

1. Mig welder – $800

2. Stick welder – $700

3. Honda 2000W generator – $1500

4. Stihl quick cut saw – $2000

5. Several credit cards.

The Sign Guy 2 was entered and has the following items taken;

1. 2004 Honda 700 CC dirt bike (no VIN available) – $1500

2. Makita Sawzall – $110

3. Makita hammer drill – $100

A White Ford Ecoline Van cargo was also stolen from the property.

Police are currently reviewing video surveillance footage and Elgin County OPP Property Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate.
