(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man with several criminal offences. The charges stem from a vehicle stop on Highway 11 in Marquis Township. The subsequent investigation led to the seizure cocaine, marihuana, drug paraphernalia, a knife, license plate and vehicle documentation. The incident occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. on September 12, 2014.
Charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 is Shane Robert SCHELL age 30 of Verulam Township, Ontario. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on October 30, 2014.
