(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – The Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) remind local residents that it is a crime to destroy, deface, damage or steal any election signs erected in the area. Local candidates in the upcoming municipal elections have begun putting up campaign signs. Any unauthorized persons tampering with these signs could face criminal charges which include theft or mischief.
