(Asphodel Norwood ON) – On Tuesday September 16, 2014, at approximately 8:10 p.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP had occasion to investigate an erratic driver on Alma Street.
Officers were patrolling the area were called to investigate the report of an erratic driver in the Village of Norwood. Officers attended the area and stopped a motor vehicle being operated by 78 year old Albert STADKE of Alnwick-Haldimand Township. The driver was investigated at this time.
As a result of the investigation STADKE was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation and Having Over 80mgs of Alcohol in his Blood.
STADKE was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on November 6, 2014.
