(CALEDON, ON) – On September 4th, 2014 just before 1 am, officers from the a Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a fail to remain motor vehicle collision which occurred at the intersection of Old Church Road and Airport Road. The female was treated by EMS on the scene with minor injuries. Police located the suspect at his residence and immediately detected a strong odour of alcohol on his breath.
As a result of the investigation, Richard P. MOYLAN, 63, was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired Cause Bodily Harm and Fail to Stop at Scene of an Accident Involving Bodily Harm.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated.
The accused is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date.
