(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – A County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was on patrol on Brant Road on September 21st, 2014.
At approximately 6:50 p.m. the officer observed two vehicles travelling north bound on Brant Road, in the County of Brant. Both vehicles were travelling at a high rate of speed and appeared to be racing. The officer managed to stop one of the vehicles that were travelling at over 130 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
Preston SCHOENFELD 19 years of age from Waterloo Region is facing the following charges
Drive Motor Vehicle- Perform Stunt
Speeding in Excess of 50 km/h or more over posted speed limit
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Offences Court in Brantford on October 14th, 2014 to answer to the charges.
