(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a property on Concession 8 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands after three males fell from a barn roof they had been working on.
The men were attempting to erect trusses on top of the structure when the incident occurred, which was on private property.
Two of the victims, age 20 and age 69, were airlifted to hospital in Toronto with serious non-life threatening injuries. The third victim, age 30, was taken to hospital in Collingwood with minor injuries. All three were from Collingwood.
The Ministry of Labour was contacted to investigate the incident.
