(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has now identified the driver and involved vehicle from a fatal fail to remain collision that occurred on September 22, 2014 near Bluevale. Shortly before 8:30 p.m., 27 year old Jordan MOOREHEAD was walking westbound on Amberley Road, east of Bluevale, when he was struck by a westbound utility truck. The victim died in hospital the next day as a result of his injuries.
The involved driver has contacted police and he has since spoken with investigators. Investigators from Huron County OPP, OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team (TTCI), Forensic Identification Support Services (FISS) and West Region Criminal Operations continue to investigate the collision.
Investigators would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation. Although the driver and vehicle have been identified, the investigation is ongoing and investigators would like to speak with anyone that may have information about the collision or the events that led up to it.
