(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Wednesday September 24th 2014, an officer from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 28 in the Municipality of Highlands East. The suspect vehicle, a Toyota car was located and stopped by police. Investigation revealed that the female driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested for failing an approved instrument and transported to the Bancroft OPP detachment for further breath tests.
32 year old Caroline MASON of Hamilton, Ontario has been charged with operate a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in her blood. She was released from custody on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 21st of October 2014.
