(South Dundas) – On September 24, 2014 at approximately 8:00pm, an SD&G OPP officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Highway 401, South Dundas Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 2256 grams of suspected marihuana and an undisclosed amount of currency from inside the vehicle. The estimated street value is $22,000.
Simon AMYOTTE (30) of Mississauga, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on October 28, 2014.
