(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 25, 2014 at approximately 4:00 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a theft of gas call from the Petro Canada located in Arthur, Wellington North Township. Police located the 2001 Honda travelling along 6th Line, Town of Minto. The male driver and female passenger were arrested. During the investigation, suspected marijuana was discovered on the woman and the man was in possession of a cheque book that was stolen from a vehicle in Wellington North Township. The driver was also a suspended driver.
Pamela SCHIECKOFF age 38 of Wellington North Township is charged with;
Theft Under $5000 – Criminal Code (C.C.)
Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams- Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.)
She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 5, 2014 to answer the charges.
Travis HEWITSON age 24 of Wellington North Township is charged with;
Theft Under $5000- C.C. X 2
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime- C.C.
Drive while Under Suspension- Highway Traffic Act (H.T.A.)
He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Bail Court on September 26, 2014 to answer the charges.
