(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating an act of mischief at a Villa Nova Road, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Sunday, September 28, 2014 at approximately 2:18 a.m., a homeowner was woken to the sound of a vehicle horn. The owner went outside to investigate and observed that their mailbox located on the property had been set on fire.
Through investigation it was determined that unknowns attended the address and proceeded to fill the mailbox with paper and then set the paper on fire. A pick-up truck was observed fleeing from the address and was last seen on Villa Nova Road.
