On Saturday, September 27, 2014 at approximately 11:59 pm, officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on Lakeshore Drive in the Municipality of Shuniah. Upon officer’s arrival, they observed a 2007 Toyota situated in a ditch against a rock cut. Upon speaking with the driver, officers detected an odour of alcohol emitting from the driver’s breath. Subsequently the driver was found to be over the legal limit. The driver was not injured.
Christopher SHERLOCK, 30 years of age, from Shuniah was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operate a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code.
He is to appear in Provincial Court on November 21 2014 to answer to the charge.
