On Monday September 29 at approximately 5:00 p.m., Police responded to a pedestrian collision at a Linden Avenue address in Kitchener. A five year old child had run into the side of a moving vehicle in the parking lot. The child was playing in between parked cars and both the driver of the involved vehicle and child did not see each other until it was too late. The child received non- life threatening injuries and was treated at hospital. Police would like to remind the public to be vigilant around moving motor vehicles. Pedestrian safety is everyone’s responsibility.
