(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On Sunday, September 18, 2014, at approximately 1:32 a.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) member came upon a vehicle, with its high beams activated, stopped on Main Street, Dundalk, in the Township of Southgate. When the vehicle, a 2011 Mazda, proceeded to move, the officer stopped it and determined that the lone driver had been drinking alcohol.
Breath tests were conducted and the driver’s blood alcohol content was found to be more than three times the legal limit.
Francois ADAMS, age 56, of the Township of Southgate, was charged with impaired driving and over 80 mg.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, October 23, 2014.
