(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On September 26th, 2014, a member of the Bruce Peninsula OPP was patrolling on Huron Road, near Resort Road, Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
The officer observed that the passenger was not wearing a seat belt and conducted a traffic stop. Investigation revealed that the driver’s licence was suspended and that the occupants were in possession of marihuana.
Travis SLOANE, 19, of the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, has been charged with driving while under suspension and possession of marihuana under 30 grams. SLOANE is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on October 30th, 2014.
Austin MACLEOD, 19, of the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, has been charged with fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by officer in charge, possession of marihuana under 30 grams, and passenger – fail to properly wear seat belt. MACLEOD is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on October 24th, 2014.
