(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – The West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified of an old framed art piece that had been left at a local business for appraisal. The business owner contacted OPP for assistance in locating the owner as the art piece had possibly been involved in a theft or break in.
OPP believe the theft of the piece of art may have possibly happened from a residence or cottage in the Parry Sound area. Police believe the theft may have occurred during the previous year.
Police are looking for information from the public in regards to the identity and ownership of the framed art piece. Any person with information should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or 705-746-4225.
