(ARNPRIOR, ON) – Members of the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call at 2:39pm on Charles St in Arnprior. Pamela MIMNAGH, 55 of Arnprior was transported to hospital by paramedics where she died of her injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle.
Upon an investigation, the victim’s husband, Clive MIMNAGH, 65 of Edmonton, AB was arrested at the scene. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke, today on the charge of Dangerous Driving Causing Death.
Charles St. in Arnprior is closed between Daniel St. S and Isabella St. while police continue their investigation.
The Renfrew County Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch is continuing the investigation. If anyone has information about this incident, they are asked to contact the Renfrew OPP at 1-88-310-1122.
