(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report two unknown males fishing from private property in the Municipality of Meaford.
Several “no trespassing signs†had been posted behind an apartment complex located on Sykes Street South in Meaford to deter people from trespassing.
Police attended and located the two males fishing within the private property boundaries, despite the posted signage.
Wai TSUI, age 28, of Thornhill, Ontario and Po Kuen KWOK, age 29, of Scarborough, Ontario were each issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Entering Premises when Entry Prohibited contrary to the Trespass to Property Act.
