(CAMPBELLCROFT, ON) – On Monday October 6, 2014 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were sent to a break and enter at a residence in the north end of the Municipality of Port Hope that had occurred while the home owner was away for the day.
OPP officers attended to the Ganaraska Road residence in Campbellcroft and were advised that the home owner returned at approximately 5:30 pm to find that the front door to the residence was open and items missing.
Investigation determined that a jewelry box was moved into the kitchen with two watches being stolen namely; a silver Cartier with gold numbers and a gold wind up Rolex estimated to be $1,000 each. There was also approximately $400 worth of other assorted jewelry and a white, older model iPod attached to an iPod speaker system also taken.
The Northumberland OPP detachment Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) attended to assist with this continuing investigation.
