(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On October 8, 2014 at approximately 1:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a report that a farm tractor rolled on top and trapped a Town of Minto man on the 13th Line near Highway 9, Town of Minto.
The 61 year old operator was on private property and a wheel entered the ditch, causing it roll. The Town of Minto Fire Department attended the scene to lift the tractor off of him. Serious injuries occurred and he was taken by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a local hospital where he will be airlifted to a Hamilton hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
