(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – Two separate vehicle stops conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in the drivers being charged with the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) offence of driving while suspended.
On October 7, 2014 an OPP officer conducted a vehicle stop on Dew Drop Inn Road and determined that the driver was suspended. As a result of the stop James WILLIAMS, 34 years of age, was charged with driving while suspended. The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay on November 18, 2014.
On October 7, 2014 a vehicle was stopped on Highway 35 near Stoney Creek Road and investigation revealed that the driver, Jonathan EDWARDS, 33 years of age, was suspended from driving. EDWARDS was charged accordingly and will appear in court, in Lindsay, on November 18, 2014.
