(NAPANEE, ON)- Yesterday morning at 9:30 a.m. an officer with the Loyalist detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle travelling in excess of 50 km/h over the posted 80 km/h speed limit on County Road 1 East, Stone Mills Township.
The vehicle driver, 25 year-old Patrick DWYRE of Kingston, was charged with Stunt Driving contrary to Section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act. His licence was seized for 7 days and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.
DWYRE is scheduled to appear in court on November 12th.
