(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore stopped a man driving 86 kilometers over the posted speed limit this morning.
Police clocked the GMC Envoy travelling 146 km/hour in a posted 60 km/hour zone on Essex County Road 27 (Belle River Road) in Lakeshore, just north of Lions Club Road.
Shawn CLENIGHAN, age 44 of Lakeshore has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His vehicle was impounded and his licence suspended for 7 days as a result.
