(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in alcohol being seized and the driver being charged.
On October 13, 2014 an OPP officer was on patrol on Highway 35 near MacMillan Way when a vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and during the investigation it was determined that alcohol was present in the vehicle. The alcohol was seized.
The vehicle driver, Brian DENENA, 23 years of age, of Ramara Township was charged with speeding.
