(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in the driver facing a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) related offence.
On October 10, 2014 an OPP officer was on patrol on Highway 35 near Telecom Road when a vehicle was observed travelling at 139 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The officer subsequently stopped the vehicle which had three occupants, including an infant.
As a result of the investigation the driver, Bobbi-Lynn MC DOUGALL, 24 years of age, of Oshawa, was charged with stunt driving and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
