Police have charged a 28 year old London man with Failing to Yield Right of Way after he was involved in a collision on October 10th, 2014 around 8:44am. The collision occurred at the intersection of John Wise Line and Quaker Rd. Central Elgin.
A 28 year old London man was operating a 2008 Ford Escape traveling south on Quaker Rd when he failed to stop for the stop sign at Johnwise Line and collided with the driver’s side a 2002 Honda Car which was traveling east on John Wise Line. The force of the impact pushed the vehicles into the southeast ditch.
Central Elgin Fire as well as Thames EMS were both on scene assisting.
The driver of the Ford Escape suffered minor injuries in the collision and was treated at the scene, a 28 year old male passenger was uninjured.
The driver and lone occupant of the Honda was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have charged Daniel MCGAHAN, age 28, of London, ON with;
Failing to Yield to Traffic on Through Highway contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
