(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment continues to investigate an arson at a Main St. N. Jarvis, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday October 12th, 2014 at approximately 3:10 am Emergency Services were called to a garage fire at the Main St address after a homeowner observed someone prowling around their property.
Shortly after observing the prowler, a fire was discovered on the garage wall which was successfully extinguished with a garden hose by the home owner.
The detached garage sustained minor damage as a result.
An ATV and generator had been moved out of the garage prior to the fire, as if they were being prepared to be stolen.
The suspect was described as being;
Male
He was last seen wearing a dark coloured hoody.
