(Marmora, ON) – On October 15, 2014 at 10:20 a.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a two vehicle collision on Stirling-Marmora Road at River Heights Road in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. The investigation revealed that a van travelling northbound on Stirling-Marmora Road initiated a left turn on to River Heights Road and struck a car travelling southbound.
As a result the driver of the van, 23 year old Luke WALKER of Marmora, ON was charged with Left Turn – Fail to Afford Reasonable Opportunity to Avoid Collision. The driver of the car was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
