(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment were contacted by an alert citizen after noticing a suspicious person at a Queen Street North, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Saturday, October 18, 2014 at approximately 8:18 a.m., an alert citizen observed a suspicious vehicle enter a parking lot and stop in front of a parked motor vehicle. An unknown male was then observed exiting the suspicious vehicle who then walked over and subsequently damage a window on a parked motor vehicle located in the parking lot. The male then entered the vehicle and removed a stereo system and iPod.
The unknown suspect is being described as a male, white, 5’8 to 5’10, dark coloured hair.
The suspicious vehicle is described as a white coloured Cadillac Escalade with no front licence plate.
The OPP want to remind all Norfolk County residents that if they observed anyone suspicious in or around their property or your neighbour’s property to contact the police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
