(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora OPP have charged a Kenora woman following a single motor vehicle collision. Police were called on Monday October 20, 2014 at around 9:30 pm that a vehicle had struck a hydro pole at the intersection of May Avenue and Superior Street in Keewatin. The driver was uninjured but there were hydro lines down in the area.
As a result of this investigation, a 37 year old Kenora woman has been charged with Drive-Hand Held Communication Device contrary to section 78.1(1) of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). She was issued a Provincial Offences Notice (PON) for the offence.
