(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment were contacted by an alert citizen after noticing a suspicious person at a Charlotteville East Quarter Line Road, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at approximately 10:56 a.m., a homeowner was awoken after hearing an unknown person tapping on the door of the residence. The resident went to investigate and observed a female standing at the back door of the residence, attempting to gain entry.
The unknown female realized the resident was home and immediately fled to a vehicle that was waiting at the end of the driveway. The vehicle was last seen travelling southbound on Spooky Hollow Road.
The female is being described as, 5’5, medium build, wearing a beige beach style hat pulled down over her face, black quilted jacket and dark brown pants.
The vehicle is described as a black motor vehicle, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am or Ford Mustang.
The OPP want to remind all Norfolk County residents that if they observed anyone suspicious in or around their property or your neighbour’s property to contact the police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
