(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) -The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing with their investigations into numerous break and enters which occurred in Norwich Township.
A 31 year old male has been charged with numerous break and enters dating back to 2013.
On June 13, 2013, OPP responded to a break and enter that had occurred at a residence on Marshall Drive in Norwich, where the suspect gained entry into the residence through the open window screen in the kitchen.
On June 21, 2014, OPP responded to a break and enter into a residence on Cayley Street in Norwich Township where the suspect gained entry into the residence through an open window screen into the living room of the residence.
As a result of investigations, 31 year old Gordon Eric DYKSTRA of Norwich has been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following:
Break, Enter a dwelling place with intent to commit indictable offence
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
The male is being held in custody pending a bail hearing on a future date.
